CC&B 2.5 Installed.. :-)

Update Aug 8th 2021: Kindly refer my latest blog for C2M installation for reference on how to install latest version of CC&B.


Finally installed CC&B 2.5 from scratch. What a relief when the home page of CC&B 2.5 loaded up.


Unique points about this installation

Installed on Windows 10
Database used was Oracle 12 c - Pluggable Database used
Latest Framework version 4.3 used
Latest CC&B version 2.5

Lot of learnings from this installation. Will be putting up a separate blog for lessons learnt and the steps to be followed for installation of CC&B 2.5.

Some points noticed in CC&B 2.5
Completely New UI - Oracle Alta - A refreshing change. Also I notice the UI is more responsive as compared to previous version.

XAI replaced with IWS - XAI has been completed removed from the menu.

    Hi Sreeneeth,
    I am trying to install CCB V 2.5.0 while installing DB , i am getting this error message "The program can't start because OCI.dll is missing from your compouter,Try reinstalling the program to fx the problem".
    I am using windows 64 bit. This is happening installing DB from this location
    D:\CCB_install\CCB-V2.5.0.2.0-Oracle-Database-MultiplatForm\FW\FW43020\Install-Upgrade.Tried to run all application files but same error was coming.

    Can i know what was the reason? how to fix it.Whether oracle using 34 bit .

    Hi Sreeneeth,
    I am facing issue with configuration. I am using pluggable database and created all users and roles there. I am able to connect the pluggable database through SQL developer. However it is not working during FW database when I provide Pluggable database name in the Target Database name.

    Thanks for sharing your view on this. Please suggest if anything wrong I am doing.

    I dont know how to deploy the WAR files into WebLogic. I had to expand the memory to stop the failures, but not sure why it wont start properly.... How do I deploy it properly... wish someone made a step by step guide for Win10 to set a dev env.

      UDI-12154: operation generated ORACLE error 12154 ORA-12154: TNS:could not resolve the connect identifier specified

      Try connecting to the database from Sqlplus cmd prompt using same connect identifier. You need to resolve database connectivity issue first.
      There are number of causes for issues:
      TNS listner is no up
      Entry no present in tnsnames.ora file

      Debug the database connectivity issue first.

    Hi Sree,
    I have recently Installed the CCB, and when I ran the SPL start web logic will run but the issue is when I go the Local url and eneter in Enter net expoler that time it is not working and getting the http 500 error.

    Can u plz help me to resolve this issue.

      Could you confirm the version of CC&B that has been installed. The recent versions of CC&B support only native installation via Weblogic. spl start is not supported.
